Tillers Folly

I am the great great grand-daughter of Philip Jackman & am curious why you chose to write a song about him. Do you have any connection to him or was it just a random tribute. Great song by the way

Tiller's Folly had a history through our main song writer Bruce Coughlan of following the Celtic tradition and bringing to life BC's vibrant colonial history in song. As the Royal Engineers played such a big part in our history and your great great Grand-father was the last of the royal engineers Bruce felt he deserved a song.

We have a CD "Stirring Up Ghosts" which we released in 2008 to celebrate BC's 150th anniversary. I hope that answers your question.
